Bluebonnets and Tito's Texas Tea

Yesterday we packed a tripod and bags and bags of fruit snacks (the ultimate bribery ammo in our family) and hit a bluebonnet patch for some family pictures - an important Texas tradition according to Rob (I like my Wisconsin cheese curd eating and PBR drinking traditions better, but to each her own). After taking 166 shots of kids, kids with mom, kids with dad, kids with red ants, etc., we went out to eat (where I ordered and downed a Tito's Texas Tea - a frozen cocktail with house blended Tito’s Vodka, gin, rum, tequila & Paula’s Texas Orange, fresh lemonade, Coca-Cola, sangria swirl...yeah - it was a looooong 166 shots). Getting home, Rob and I were super excited to see how our bluebonnet experiment turned out.

And this is what we found:
Photo 1: Jannika rubbing her eyes.
Photo 2: Jannika picking her nose.
Photo 3: Jannika smiling like Jack Nicholson.
Photo 4: Jannika pointing at a butterfly.
...and it went on and on. There was really nothing we could do except laugh. Well, I may have been thirsting for another Tito's Texas Tea, but that's neither here nor there. So...enjoy. These are the real family photos (well, 12 of maybe 43).
