I've just been reading your blog for the last few minutes. It is really fabulous! A friend put a link to this post on facebook and I had to click on it because up until 6 months ago I had been "A Yankee Mom Living in Texas" for the last 7 years. I am on the verge of starting my own blog, but I'm still in the process of waiting for a blog title that takes the cake and wows the masses to come to me. Could be years. :) I'll be sure to follow yours!!
Sweetest comment ever. See, I can't even really take credit for my blog title (not that it's amazing anyways...). I stole it from a song we taught our kids ("A Yankee Farm in Texas" by Austin Cunningham) because we thought it was funny to hear them sing it. So, really, any "this is how I chose my blog name" story can't be lamer than that! :) Pull the trigger and wow the masses. And be sure to shoot me the link because there's nothing I'd rather do than avoid all household chores (and my kids) by reading other interesting blogs! ;)

It's definitely the attention that kids need that takes the time plus the doing for them what they can't do for themselves yet.
Agreed!!
